Punjab Police Committed to the best Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar remains firmly committed to the health and welfare of the police force and their families. Continuing this initiative, he has approved the release of an additional Rs. 2.595 million for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Rs. 500,000 each has been granted to Additional SP Babar Mumtaz for appendix surgery and Constable Muhammad Majid for spinal treatment. An amount of Rs. 250,000 each has been released for Head Constable Muhammad Touqeer (for his wife's treatment), the widow of deceased retired Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Hussain (for cancer treatment), and Constable Saqib Safdar (for a knee injury).
Sub-Inspectors Furqan Ahmad and Muhammad Ramzan, Head Constable Muhammad Iqbal, DSP Zakariya, Inspector Mahmood-ul-Hassan, and Head Constable Khalid Hussain have each been allocated Rs. 100,000 for medical expenses. A total amount of Rs. 245,000 has been granted to Inspector Muhammad Bashir, Head Constable Asif Javed, Constable Driver Amjad Hussain, and Sanitation Worker Asghar Masih for their treatment. The medical financial assistance was approved following scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar stated that, under MOUs signed with various institutions, police personnel are also being provided with the best medical care and treatment facilities.
