Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Actively Providing Digital Services to Citizens.

On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police’s Khidmat Marakaz (Service Centers) continue to actively deliver digital services to citizens. So far this year, more than 1.87 million citizens have benefited from various policing services provided by these centers. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, over 824,000 citizens have obtained general police verifications, while more than 465,000 citizens have been issued police character certificates. Additionally, over 210,000 citizens registered as tenants, and 93,229 individuals received medico-legal certificates.
As part of efforts to support vulnerable segments of society, legal and social protection was provided to 74,250 individuals. A total of 23,787 vehicle verifications were conducted, 47,683 reports of lost documents were registered, and 2,657 crime reports were filed. Furthermore, 99,228 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 32 reports of violence against women were registered. Employee registration (ROPE) was completed by 26,810 citizens, while 1,785 individuals underwent police verification for private employment purposes. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar remarked that Khidmat Marakaz represents a flagship public service delivery initiative of Punjab Police, offering 24/7 facilities. Across Lahore and the entire province, hundreds of thousands of citizens are benefiting from these centers each month. He added that based on public feedback, the services are being continuously upgraded for enhanced efficiency and accessibility.
