Additional IG Shehzada Sultan directed that all pending challans be resolved in coordination with the prosecution, with clear timelines. He instructed that certificates confirming the clearance of challans must be submitted within four days. SSPs Investigation were tasked with actively supervising and ensuring timely submission of all challans. He further emphasized that CPOs and DPOs must personally monitor compliance with court directives and expedite the completion of pending challans. He also directed that interim challans must be submitted to the court within 17 days. District officers were instructed to ensure strict implementation of the Anti-Rape Investigation and Trial Act 2021. Investigation officers must appear in court fully prepared, with complete case files.
Pending forensic reports from PFSA should be cleared under the direct supervision of SSPs Investigation. Officers who submitted samples to PFSA must be included as witnesses in the 173 report to ensure legal completeness and timely prosecution.
