IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar releases additional funds of Rs. 2.89 million for treatment of police employees and their families, Punjab Police Spokesperson.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. In continuation of this, an additional amount of Rs. 2.89 million has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police Spokesperson, while sharing the details, said that Rs. 500,000 each has been given for the liver treatment of the widow of deceased retired Constable Abrar Hussain and for the treatment of Constable Khaleel Hussain, who is suffering from skin cancer. An amount of Rs. 400,000 has been released for the liver treatment of retired Inspector Shams-ud-Din. Constable Abdul Qadeer and retired Constable Muhammad Boota have been granted Rs. 250,000 each for their medical treatment. Head Constable Zaheer Abbas, Constables Muhammad Hanan and Nadeem Arif, Baildar Haq Nawaz, retired Senior Clerk Allah Ditta, retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz, and Constable Adnan Ahmad have each been issued Rs. 100,000 for their medical treatment. ASI Arshad Aziz, Constable Nadeem Ashraf, and Driver Constable Muhammad Ashiq have collectively been provided Rs. 215,000 for treatment. ASI Shahid Hussain and Junior Clerk Muhammad Asghar have collectively received Rs. 75,000 for their medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab further said that under MOUs with various institutions, the best medical treatment facilities are also being provided to employees.
