Central Police Office: Newly Inducted ASPs of 52nd Common Visited Central Police Office

A delegation of newly inducted Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the 52nd Common visited the Central Police Office. The delegation, comprising 33 ASPs including 7 women officers, met with IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the ASPs will begin their training at the National Police Academy from July 20. During their training, the ASPs will carry out various tasks in different districts of Punjab from July 28 to August 8.
IG Punjab briefed the trainee officers about key police projects including the Crime Control Division (CCD), Riot Management Police, police applications, and the Smart Safe Cities initiative. He said that the ASPs will be given orientation on law and order, crime control, welfare, judicial affairs, and the Police Record Management System. There are vast opportunities in Punjab to understand the policing system and to learn investigation-based modern policing, IG Punjab said. He directed the young officers to perform their duties with utmost dedication and commitment.
On this occasion, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, DIG Welfare & Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Finance Nida Umar Chattha, AIG Welfare Abdul Rahim Sherazi, and other officers were also present.
