Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the health and welfare of his force and their families. Continuing this commitment, an additional amount of Rs. 2.275 million has been released for the medical treatment of police personnel and their families. While sharing details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that Constable Zeeshan Khan has been given Rs. 500,000 for cancer treatment. Inspector Khalid Hameed has been granted Rs. 450,000 for medical treatment. Constable Rashid Hussain has been provided Rs. 200,000 for treatment of a heart condition. Lady Constable Shakira Bibi, Constable Sajid Hussain, Senior Clerk Israr-ul-Haq, Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Ali, Driver Constable Muhammad Riaz, Constable Hassan Ijaz, Constable Muhammad Ramzan, and Driver Constable Peer Bakhsh have each been given Rs. 100,000 each for medical treatment. Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar, Constable Muhammad Waqas, Supervisor Muhammad Shafiq, and Surveillance Supervisor Shaukat Hayat have collectively been provided Rs. 325,000 for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the disbursement of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that under Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various institutions, the department is also providing the best possible medical facilities to its employees.
