Central Police Office: Ceremony Held in Honor of Officers Promoted from Office Superintendent to Assistant Director.

On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to honor officers promoted from the post of Office Superintendent to Assistant Director. Families and children of the promoted officers attended the event. IG Punjab distributed promotion orders among 24 officers elevated to the rank of Assistant Director and directed them to perform the responsibilities of their new roles with dedication and diligence. He emphasized the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence, software applications, and modern technology in the execution of professional duties.
IG Punjab advised the officers to take comprehensive steps to assist subordinate staff in career and character grooming, welfare, and office matters. He added that Assistant Directors, along with ministerial staff, are the backbone of administrative affairs in all institutions. The newly promoted Assistant Directors were urged to fulfill the responsibilities of their new positions with sincerity and strong work ethics. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment-II Captain (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, AIG Admin Asad Ijaz Malhi, Registrar, and AD Admin. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar had approved the promotions of eligible Office Superintendents to Assistant Director posts two days prior, in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations. The promoted Assistant Directors are currently serving in various field formations and districts of the police.
