IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed to the Best Medical Treatment for Police Personnel Injured in the Line of Duty.
An additional Rs. 2.6 million released to cover medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and other districts
Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar remains committed to ensuring the best possible medical treatment for police personnel injured during duty. Continuing this commitment, an additional amount of Rs. 2.6 million has been released to cover medical expenses of injured officers from Lahore and various other districts. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, injured Constable Bu Muhammad Qadri was granted Rs. 1.5 million for medical expenses. Constable Muhammad Touqeer received Rs. 700,000 for treatment, while injured Corporal Ghazanfar Abbas was given Rs. 300,000. Retired Sub-Inspector Saee Muhammad was awarded Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare & Finance Imran Arshad, approved the release of these funds. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that providing the best treatment and swift recovery for police heroes is a top priority. He added that no effort will be spared to ensure the highest standard of health and welfare for injured police personnel.
