Punjab Police Committed to the Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, an additional fund of Rs. 2.345 million has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing the details, said that Security Constable Zaka Ullah has been granted Rs. 500,000 for the treatment of a chest disease. The wife of martyred Traffic Assistant Liaqat Ali Khan has been given Rs. 250,000 for the treatment of a chronic liver disease.
ASI Muhammad Shahid Alvi has been issued Rs. 200,000 for a heart ailment, Office Staff Muhammad Irshad has received Rs. 200,000 for an eye condition, and Corporal Tasawar Abbas has been provided Rs. 200,000 for the treatment of a chronic kidney disease. Sub-Inspectors Mubashir Ali and Muhammad Aslam, Constable Muhammad Ramzan, and Driver Constable Safdar Zamir have each been given Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. ASI Javed Akhtar, Constable Abdul Rauf, and Driver Constable Yasir Sohail have been granted a total of Rs. 305,000 for their medical treatment. ASIs Iftikhar Ahmad, Naeem Abbas, Muhammad Javed, and Constable Javed Iqbal have collectively been issued a fund of Rs. 290,000 for medical assistance. IG Punjab approved the release of the funds following scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that, under MOUs with various institutions, employees are also being provided with the best possible medical treatment facilities.
