Punjab Police Committed to best Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families

 

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, remains committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. Continuing this initiative, IGP Punjab has approved the release of over Rs. 3.575 million for the medical treatment of police personnel and their families. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Rs. 1 million has been released for Head Constable Nasir Ali for treatment of a severe bone disease. Driver Constable Muhammad Asghar Khan has been granted Rs. 500,000 for liver cancer treatment, and Constable Hafeez-ur-Rehman has been granted Rs. 500,000 for his wife’s cancer treatment. Retired Sub-Inspector Faiz Ahmed has been granted Rs. 350,000 for liver cancer treatment. Constable Muhammad Akbar has received Rs. 300,000 for his wife’s liver transplant. ASI Muhammad Afzal and Head Constable Rafi Ullah have each been granted Rs. 250,000 for the treatment of their wife and themselves respectively.Constable Muhammad Amin and the widow of deceased retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Jameel have together been allocated a total of Rs. 300,000 for medical treatment. Sub-Inspector Amjad Ali and retired Constable Muhammad Tufail have been granted a combined amount of Rs. 125,000 for treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds following scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar added that under MOUs with various institutions, police employees are also being provided with top-quality medical treatment facilities.
