Punjab Police Committed to the Best Health Welfare of Its Employees’ Children
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Released Rs. 3.375 Million for Treatment of Employees’ Children with Serious Illnesses in Lahore and Various Districts
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is dedicated to ensuring the best health welfare for the children of police employees. In continuation of this commitment, Rs. 3.375 million have been released for the treatment of employees’ children suffering from serious illnesses across Lahore and other districts in the province. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, approval was granted for Rs. 1.66 million for ASI Samar Iqbal’s daughter’s cochlear implant surgery. Rs. 250,000 each were allocated to Constable Umar Sadiq for his son’s heart condition treatment, Junaid Iqbal for his son’s blood cancer treatment, and Naveedullah Khan for his son’s bone marrow treatment. Rs. 200,000 were disbursed to Constable Ghulam Shahid Khan for his son’s heart surgery. Head Constables Kazim Ali Shah, Muhammad Javed, and Constable Mehr Amjad Ali were each approved Rs. 100,000 for their children’s medical treatment. A total of Rs. 240,000 was given to Office Superintendent Khalid Habib, Inspector Muhammad Saleem, Technical Officer Qasim Ali, and Sanitation Worker Nasir Mahmood for their children’s treatment. ASIs Rashid Taimoor and Asif Mahmood Mali Jasarat Khan collectively received Rs. 225,000 for their children’s medical expenses. The spokesperson further said that IG Punjab released these funds after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee.Dr. Usman Anwar said that the welfare of the families of police employees, who work tirelessly to protect the lives and properties of citizens, remains a top priority.
