IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed to Providing Best Medical Treatment for Brave Injured Personnel.
An additional amount of 2.8 million rupees released for medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing the best possible medical treatment to the brave personnel injured during duty. In continuation of this commitment, an additional amount of 2.8 million rupees has been released to cover the medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts including Lahore. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that injured Constable Nasir Hussain has been given Rs. 1.5 million for medical expenses. Injured Constable Adnan Habib has been issued Rs. 1 million for medical expenses. Retired injured Inspector Azam Mehmood and injured Constable Fayaz Ahmed have each been granted Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. Injured ASI Shamraiz Aslam has also been issued Rs. 100,000 for medical expenses. The spokesperson of Punjab Police further said that the Compensation Award Committee, under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad, approved the disbursement of these funds. IG Punjab said that providing the best medical care and ensuring the swift recovery of police personnel injured in the line of duty is a top priority. He further said that no effort will be spared in ensuring the best health welfare for these brave officers.
