Police’s Meesaq centres

LAHORE: As many as 43,633 individuals from the minority communities have benefitted from Punjab Police’s Meesaq centres in Punjab during this year. The Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said this year, 43,633 individuals from minorities benefitted from Meesaq centres across the province, including Lahore. He said that at the centres, issues of 5,813 minority individuals were resolved. A total of 36,741 individuals were provided services related to Police Khidmat Marakiz. A total of 42,565 minority individuals expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided at the centres. He said that in the provincial capital alone, 2,967 minority individuals had benefitted from the centres so far. Issues of 250 minority individuals were resolved, while 3,280 individuals were provided services related to the Khidmat Marakaz.Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar said that Police Meesaq centres were promoting interfaith harmony by resolving the issues of the minority community.
