Punjab Police carried out a successful operation against Khawarji terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan, conducting a targeted operation alongside the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Rangers. According to details, Dera Ghazi Khan Police received intelligence regarding the movement of terrorists near the border area of Kot Mubarak, located between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Upon reaching the location, the terrorists attacked the police with rocket launchers and heavy weaponry as soon as they saw them.
In an effective retaliatory action by the police, CTD, and Rangers, the terrorists fled. Reports indicate that several terrorists were injured during the police operation. A search and sweep operation is ongoing in the area, led from the front by the SDPO Taunsa, SHO Wohwa, CTD, and Rangers teams.
DPO D.G. Khan, Syed Ali said that Punjab Police stands as a solid wall against terrorists. He further said that the personnel of Punjab Police, CTD, and Rangers displayed exemplary professionalism and bravery, and Punjab Police will continue decisive action against terrorists on every front.
