Two dacoits with head money surrender before LEAs in RYK

Rahim Yar Khan  -  Due to effective strategies employed by law enforcement authorities, the dangerous dacoits of Kacha area, Shabbir Lathani and Rustom Lathani, infamous for their involvement in heinous crimes and listed with bounties of Rs 2.5 million and more, surrendered themselves before police on Thursday. The surrender marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities in the region. Under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Irfan Ali Sammu, police launched targeted operations and strategic actions against criminal elements in Kachh, yielding promising results. The crackdown, characterized by meticulous planning and coordinated efforts, has begun to dismantle the criminal networks that have long plagued the area.

Shabbir Lathani, who carried a bounty of Rs. 2.5 million, and Rustom Lathani, with a record of 41 serious cases, appeared before authorities voluntarily. These individuals have been involved in kidnapping for ransom and other grave offenses, terrorizing local communities for years. According to police sources, additional dangerous criminals are expected to surrender in the coming days, as the crackdown continues. DPO Sammu emphasized that the ongoing operations against Kachh’s criminal elements will persist, aiming to restore safety and peace in the region. The successful apprehension and surrender of these notorious outlaws underscore the commitment of law enforcement agencies to tackling organized crime and ensuring justice for affected communities.
