Punjab Police actively ensuring public service delivery and enforcement of traffic laws
During last 24 hours, 26,545 driving licenses issued, Punjab Police spokesperson
Acting upon the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is actively engaged in public service delivery and ensuring strict enforcement of traffic laws. As part of this ongoing effort, 26,545 individuals were issued driving licenses within the last 24 hours.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 43,000 traffic violation tickets were issued and fines amounting to Rs. 25 million were imposed. Additionally, 519 smoke-emitting vehicles were fined and 105 were impounded at police stations. IG Punjab emphasized that actions against traffic violators should continue without interruption and that effective measures should be taken to recover unpaid traffic fines.
