Good News for Children of Punjab Police's Martyrs and Employees Who Passed Away During Service.
Male and female students aspiring for admission in BS (Honours) at Government College University Lahore will be able to receive free scholarships, Punjab Police Spokesperson.
Children will be given 100% scholarship from the Endowment Fund Trust of Government College University, DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin.
Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is leading ongoing welfare initiatives for the children of Punjab Police martyrs and employees who passed away during service. As part of this, male and female students aspiring for admission in BS (Honours) at Government College University Lahore will be able to receive free scholarships. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin said that children will be given 100% scholarship from the Endowment Fund Trust of Government College University. Male and female students taking admission in BS (Honours) will benefit from the scholarship. Students who succeed in the entry test and meet the merit criteria will be eligible for the scholarship. Complete support will be provided to students for renewal after each semester. After their names appear in the open merit list, male and female students will submit applications to the Government College University Endowment Fund Trust. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that we are extremely grateful for the commendable initiative by Government College University to ensure higher education for the children of police martyrs and employees who passed away during service. Talented children of the police constabulary are also being given foreign scholarships for education abroad. IG Punjab further said that the higher education of police employees' children is a top priority, and MOUs have also been signed with several educational institutions to facilitate fee concessions.
