LAHORE:Punjab Police busted eight criminal gangs and arrested 17 members involved in theft and robbery across district during Eid holidays. Police recovered 13 motorcycles, livestock, and a cache of weapons and ammunition. A police spokesperson said 71 proclaimed offenders, 12 judicial fugitives, and two habitual criminals were also arrested. In a separate crackdown, police raided 136 drug dens, arresting 73 suspects and seizing drugs. Additionally, 12 suspects involved in electricity theft were arrested and cases were registered.
