IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directions: Weekly general parade held across the province,
Senior police officers inspected the parade, parade contingents presented salute.
On the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the weekly general parade was held across the province. According to details, senior police officers inspected the parade while the parade contingents presented salute. Officers and personnel from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, OCU, Investigation Wing, and Operation Wing of police stations participated in the general parade. Senior officers also checked the turnout of the officers and personnel participating in the parade. Smartly dressed contingents of personnel taking part in the general parade performed a march-past, while female personnel also participated in the general parade. General parades are being held regularly every Monday across the province. District officers also inspected the Kot, Motor Transport Wing, Miscellaneous Stores, Uniform Depot, and other departments. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep the personnel alert and to maintain an atmosphere of discipline, unity, and brotherhood among them. He further said that a parade is the best demonstration of discipline in any force and that the general parade will help maintain the fitness of officers and personnel. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the parade reflects the history, heritage, and tradition of the police force.
