IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar extends Eid greetings to police communication officers and staff
IG Punjab briefed on security and other arrangements on the occasion of Eid
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. IG Punjab extended Eid greetings to police communication officers and staff. He was briefed on security and other arrangements made for Eid.IG Punjab reviewed the law and order situation, Eid-ul-Adha security, and cleanliness arrangements through surveillance cameras. He monitored the security and sanitation measures directly via the Safe City digital wall. Punjab Police Spokesperson said that during the visit, IG Punjab was briefed that, based on Safe Cities' identification, LWMC personnel were actively engaged in disposing of animal waste and remains. IG Punjab said that through the surveillance of the Safe Cities Authority, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of a clean Punjab on Eid-ul-Adha has been fulfilled. Punjab Safe Cities Authority is also providing excellent facilities for the protection of children and women. IG Punjab further said that the scope of Safe Cities will be extended to all tehsils across Punjab.
