Youm-e-Takbeer is a Day to Renew the Pledge for the Defense and Security of Pakistan: IG Punjab
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, said that the defense of Pakistan is invincible and the balance of power in South Asia has been established. Punjab Police, on Youm-e-Takbeer, reaffirms its commitment to protecting the internal boundaries of the homeland and the lives and properties of its citizens. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police stands shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces of Pakistan in making the defense of the country invincible and protecting it from internal and external aggression. Every last drop of blood will be shed to cleanse the country of terrorists, anti-state and miscreant elements. Dr. Usman Anwar said that "Punjab Police provided full security to more than 100 rallies and other programs held on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer." More than 3000 officers and personnel performed security duties for Youm-e-Takbeer rallies and other programs held across Punjab, including Lahore.
