Punjab Police is committed for the health welfare of its force and their families.
IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has released another 2.9 million rupees for the medical treatment of police personnel and their families, spokesperson of Punjab Police.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. In continuation of this, additional funds exceeding 2.9 million rupees have been released for the medical treatment of police personnel and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that Ghazi Sub-Inspector Maqsood Ahmad has been given 500,000 rupees for cancer treatment. ASI Atta Muhammad has been approved 450,000 rupees for medical treatment. ASI Javed, Constable Sameer Riaz, and Lady Constable Irshad Begum have each been given 250,000 rupees for medical treatment. Retired Inspector Abid Aziz, Sub-Inspector Amjad Ali, Head Constable Muhammad Shehbaz, Retired Assistant Shafqat Hussain, Lady Constable Nabiha Akhtar, the widow of late Constable Ali Nawaz, Corporal Shoaib Nazir, Constables Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Ramzan, and Irshad Ali have each been released 100,000 rupees for medical treatment. Retired Inspector Naseer Ahmad, Constables Muhammad Akbar, and Salman Masih have been collectively given 225,000 rupees for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of funds after the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that employees are also being provided with excellent healthcare facilities under MOUs with various institutions.
