LAHORE:Punjab Police has released over Rs2.367 million in additional funds for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. The recipients include DSP Saif Ullah (Rs 1 million for a kidney transplant), retired SI Bilal Tareen (Rs0.5 million for liver cancer treatment), and Traffic Warden Ali Shahid (Rs0.25 million for his wife's surgery). Junior Clerk Ali Abbas received Rs0.25 million for his wife's brain tumor treatment.
