IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directions: Weekly General Parade held across the province.
Senior police officers inspected the parade, parade contingents presented salute
On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the weekly general parade was held across the province including Lahore. According to details, senior police officers inspected the parade while parade contingents presented salute. Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, OCU, Investigation Wing, and officers and personnel from Operation Wing of police stations participated in the general parade.
Senior officers checked the turnout of officers and personnel participating in the parade. The well-prepared contingents of participating personnel performed a march-past in the general parade, and women personnel also took part in the parade. Regular general parades are being conducted every Monday across the province. District officers also carried out inspections of Kot, Motor Transport Wing, Miscellaneous Stores, Uniform Warehouse, and other departments. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep the personnel alert and to maintain an atmosphere of discipline, unity, and brotherhood among them. He further said that the parade is the best demonstration of discipline of any force and that the general parade will help officers and personnel maintain their fitness. He said that the parade reflects the history, heritage, and tradition of the police force.
