Outstanding Performance of Police Athletes

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has approved cash prizes of 2.215 million rupees and certificates of appreciation for 43 police athletes who exhibited outstanding performance. Spokesperson Punjab Police, while sharing the details, shared that the recipients of the prizes include athletes, coaches, managers, and players. This year, police athletes won 18 medals in various national sports events. Among the medal winners are 4 women police athletes. The police athletes secured 3 gold, 4 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
Police players also won medals in bodybuilding, golf tournaments, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, wushu kung fu, and tug of war. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police sports teams are continuously achieving success at national and provincial levels. Players winning medals in national games are the pride of Punjab Police. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that strong efforts will continue for the encouragement and patronage of police athletes.
