IG Punjab reviewed the performance of CCD officers in accordance with policy guidelines
An important meeting on the newly established CCD force's affairs was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar. The meeting was attended by Additional IG CCD Sohail Zafar Chatha, Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan, DIG Operations Punjab Waqas Nazir, DIG CCD Waqas-ul-Hassan, DIG CCD Umar Farooq Salamat, and AIG Operations Abdul Rahim Sherazi, while RPOs, DPOs, ROs, and DOs CCD from Rawalpindi and Sargodha regions participated via video link.
IG Punjab reviewed the performance of CCD officers in accordance with policy guidelines. The spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that the ROs of CCD Rawalpindi and Sargodha briefed on the targets achieved. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the performance of RO Sargodha for achieving the targets related to the suppression of heinous crimes. He said that there is excellent coordination and working relationship between district police and CCD for the elimination of serious crimes. The district police have provided CCD with complete human resources, transport, offices, and logistics. Additional IG CCD Sohail Zafar Chatha said that CCD is focusing on heinous crimes including robbery-murder, robbery-rape, sexual assault-murder, motorcycle theft, and dangerous gangs.
IG Punjab directed CCD to further accelerate the arrest of high-profile proclaimed offenders and gang members. CCD officers should keep all details related to arrested suspects, challaning, and data updated, while also intensifying efforts for the recovery of missing children and women.
