IG Punjab hands over a house to the family of another police official who attained martyrdom in the line of duty

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's mission to provide a roof over the heads of the families of police martyrs continues, under which IG Punjab handed over a house to the family of another police official who attained martyrdom in the line of duty. A house worth 13.5 million rupees was purchased for the family of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Tariq. Punjab Police spokesperson informed that the house was purchased and provided in Jampur, Rajanpur, as per the preference of the martyr’s family. Shaheed Constable Muhammad Tariq embraced martyrdom in 2024 during an encounter with dacoits in the Kacha area. Family of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Tariq includes his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released the funds for the martyr’s family to acquire the house. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Tariq. IG Punjab said that Constable Muhammad Tariq sacrificed his life in the line of duty without regard for his own safety.
