IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a meeting of the Police Executive Board.

 A meeting of the Police Executive Board was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. The meeting was attended by Additional IGs, MD Safe Cities Authority, heads of all departments and field units, DIGs and AIGs, as well as senior officers. Punjab Police spokesperson shared that matters related to service rules, administrative and policy affairs concerning rewards, amendments to laws, scholarships, and service structure were taken under consideration. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that progress regarding the upgradation of police stations and check posts and development schemes was highlighted. Heads of various units presented concrete suggestions and observations regarding the agenda and matters under discussion.

IGP Punjab instructed the officers that supervisory officers should ensure effective execution of administrative affairs and complete development projects within the specified timelines. IG Punjab directed that the proposals discussed in the meeting should be upgraded and presented in the next meeting. Dr. Usman Anwar instructed that the meeting of the Police Executive Board should be held regularly for decision-making on important policy matters.
