Welfare Management System

Welfare Management System:

The Punjab Police has implemented a comprehensive Welfare Management System to support its personnel and their families.

Dowry Charges: Financial assistance for the marriage of officers' daughters.

Maintenance Allowance: Support for widows and children of deceased officers.

Education Scholarships: Merit-based scholarships to encourage and support children's education, including provisions for special and technical education.

Medical Assistance: Financial support for medical treatments for officers, their spouses, and children.

Funeral Charges: Assistance provided upon the passing of any member.

Retirement Benefits: An additional salary upon retirement for officers of all ranks.

To streamline welfare and professional matters, the Punjab Police IT Division launched the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) mobile application. This app enables serving and retired officers to access their profiles, rectify errors, apply for welfare funds, promotions, NOCs, and other services without visiting offices. It also facilitates timely resolution of issues faced by retired employees and the families of martyrs.

Additionally, the Punjab Police has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various educational institutions, hospitals, laboratories, and other organizations to provide concessions and benefits to police employees and their families. For instance, short courses at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) are offered for children of police martyrs and constabulary, with fee reimbursement through the Punjab Police Welfare Fund.

These initiatives reflect the Punjab Police's commitment to the welfare and professional development of its personnel and their families.
