Senior Police Officers Inspected the Parade, Parade Contingents Presented Salute.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, weekly general parades were held across the province including Lahore. According to details, senior police officers inspected the parade, while the parade contingents presented salute. Officers and personnel from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, OCU, Investigation Wing, and Operations Wing of police stations participated in the general parade. Senior officers also checked the turnout of the officers and personnel taking part in the parade. The smartly turned-out contingents participating in the general parade performed a march-past. Female personnel also participated in the general parade. Regular weekly general parades are being held across the province every Monday. District officers also inspected the armoury, motor transport wing, miscellaneous stores, uniform warehouse, and other departments. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep the personnel alert and to maintain an atmosphere of discipline, unity, and brotherhood among them. He further said that the parade is an excellent display of discipline for any force and helps maintain the fitness of officers and personnel. He added the parade reflects the history, heritage, and tradition of the police force.
