Security operations across province intensified

LAHORE:Amid rising border tensions, Punjab Police have intensified security operations across the province. In the last 24 hours, 380 combing operations were conducted, over 14,000 individuals checked, and 61 suspects detained. Separately, 32 sweep operations led to the interrogation of 3,483 people and arrest of four suspects. A total of 167 proclaimed offenders, 155 court absconders, and 53 habitual criminals were apprehended. Meanwhile, the mock drills involving Punjab Police, Elite Force, CTD, Rescue 1122, and Bomb Disposal Squad are also underway to ensure readiness for any emergency.
