Current border situation, campaign for the repatriation of illegally residing foreign nationals continues across Punjab.

13,314 illegally residing individuals including Afghans deported from Punjab including Lahore, Punjab Police spokesperson

In the context of the current border situation, the campaign for the repatriation of illegally residing foreign nationals continues across Punjab, during which 13,314 illegally residing individuals including Afghans have been deported from the province. The spokesperson of Punjab Police, while providing details, said that during the repatriation campaign, 13,350 illegally residing individuals were transferred to holding centers, while 36 illegally residing individuals are currently present at holding points. 05 holding centers have been established in Lahore and 46 across the province. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that security is on high alert and the repatriation of all illegally residing individuals is being ensured. The policy for the repatriation of illegally residing individuals is being implemented in accordance with international laws, and human rights are being fully considered during the repatriation process.
