The competence of two talented officers of Punjab Police has been recognized at the international level and their names have been selected for global awards. World Police Summit (WPS) has selected SDPO City Circle Sargodha ASP Anam Sher Khan for first position and DPO Kasur Muhammad Essa Khan for second position in international awards categories. Punjab Police spokesperson said that the exceptional performance of police officers from 192 countries in different categories was reviewed for the World Police Summit Awards. After strict scrutiny and interviews, the awards committee has shortlisted two officers from Punjab Police as award winners. The list of position holders in various categories has been published on the official website of the World Police Summit Dubai. The award ceremony of the World Police Summit Awards will be held this month from 13 to 15 May in Dubai. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated both officers for bringing honor to their country and Punjab Police at the global level and said that both officers have been selected for international awards in recognition of their exceptional performance and services in policing. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the selection of Punjab Police officers for the World Police Summit Award is a matter of great pride for the Pakistan Police Service. Punjab Police spokesperson said that ASP Anam Sher Khan achieved first position in the category of Excellence in Criminal Investigation Award 2025 for outstanding performance in criminal investigation, while DPO Kasur Muhammad Essa Khan has been declared deserving of second position for excellent performance in the category of Best Artificial Intelligence Implementation in Policing Award.
