Punjab Police khidmat Marakaz Actively Providing Digital Services to Citizens
So Far This Year, Over 1.27 Million Citizens Have Availed Police Services from Khidmat Marakaz
Punjab Police khidmat Marakaz are actively engaged in providing digital services to citizens. Punjab Police spokesperson shared that over 1.27 million citizens have availed policing services from these Marakaz so far this year. The spokesperson further elaborated that over 602,000 citizens have undergone general police verification, while more than 302,000 citizens have received police character certificates. Additionally, over 148,000 citizens have registered their tenancy, and more than 55,000 citizens have obtained medico legal certificates. The spokesperson also mentioned that, as part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities, more than 47,000 individuals have been provided with legal and social protection, and 15,000 citizens have availed vehicle verification services. Furthermore, more than 31,000 citizens have reported document loss, over 1,700 have registered crime reports, and 59,000 citizens have received copies of FIRs. Also, 15 women’s violence reports were filed. In addition, 6,804 citizens registered for employees (ROPE), while 1,226 citizens availed police verification for private employment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Police Khidmat Marakaz are an excellent flagship project for public service delivery, offering 24/7 facilities to citizens. He further mentioned that millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, benefit from the police service center facilities each month, and services are continually being upgraded based on citizen feedback.
