A brave officer of Punjab Police, through timely action, saved agricultural land, livestock, and houses from the intense fire. Punjab Police spokesperson said that last night, during severe weather conditions, SHO Tarkhanwala Sargodha received information about a fire that had broken out in a garbage heap and was spreading toward agricultural land. The fire in the garbage heap had engulfed houses, livestock, and nearby fields. SHO Safdar Iqbal immediately reached the scene along with his team. The police team, under the leadership of SHO Safdar Iqbal, bravely extinguished the intense fire on a self-help basis. The valiant police personnel, without any external assistance, prevented the fire from reaching the houses and protected the crops from major damage. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated SHO Safdar Iqbal and his team for saving precious properties and lives from the fire. IG Punjab announced medals and rewards for the police team for ensuring the protection of citizens' lives and property without regard for their own safety.
