Punjab Police committed to providing employment to children of martyrs.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing employment opportunities to the children of Punjab Police martyrs. In line with this commitment, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana has issued an awareness letter to all police formations. The spokesperson of Punjab Police, while sharing details, said that under the "Shaheed Quota," the children of police martyrs are being provided employment in various positions. Children of martyrs from the rank of Constable to Sub-Inspector are being given jobs according to their eligibility. Based on educational qualifications and in accordance with the rules and regulations, children of martyrs are being recruited as Junior Clerks, Constables, Driver Constables, and Class-IV staff. For children of martyrs from the rank of Inspector and above, employment is being provided at the level of Sub-Inspector and Assistant (Grade 16) in ministerial staff. Sons, daughters, or brothers of police martyrs who meet the educational criteria are being recruited into the department. The spokesperson further said that families of police martyrs who died after April 2017 are benefiting from this facility. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar urged the families of police martyrs to fully benefit from this opportunity for the better future of their children.
