Punjab Police's campaign for the evacuation of illegal foreign residents continues, during which a total of 12,762 illegal residents, including Afghans, have been evacuated from across the province. The spokesperson for Punjab Police said that during the campaign, 12,936 illegal residents were moved to holding centers, while 174 illegal residents remain at the holding points. The spokesperson further mentioned that 05 holding centers have been established in Lahore and 46 holding centers across the province.
IG Punjab said that the evacuation policy for illegal residents is being implemented in accordance with international laws, and security remains on high alert. All illegal residents will be evacuated, and during the evacuation process, human rights are being fully ensured.
