Over 1.202 million citizens have availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz so far this year, Spokesperson Punjab Police
On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively providing digital services to citizens. In continuation of these efforts, over 1.202 million citizens have availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz so far this year. Punjab Police spokesperson said that more than 577,000 citizens obtained general police verification, while over 283,000 citizens received police character certificates. He said that more than 139,000 citizens registered tenancy records, over 50,000 citizens obtained medico-legal certificates, and more than 44,000 individuals from vulnerable groups were provided legal and social protection.More than 14,000 citizens availed vehicle verification services, over 29,000 citizens registered document loss reports, and 1,581 citizens registered crime reports. Additionally, 55,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 11 women violence reports were registered. 5,846 citizens completed employee registration (ROPE), and 1,212 citizens obtained police verification for private employment. IG Punjab said that Khidmat Marakaz are a remarkable flagship project for public service delivery, providing facilities 24/7. Millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, are benefiting from the services of police Khidmat Marakaz each month. He said that based on citizens' feedback, services are being further upgraded.
