Punjab Police’s education-friendly ASI is committed to ensuring his children receive higher education in fields including medical and engineering. ASI Gulzar Ahmed, along with his wife, daughters, and son, visited the Central Police Office and met with IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to Gulzar Ahmed’s determination and dedication in providing quality higher education to his children through hard work and perseverance. IGP Punjab said that despite difficult circumstances, Gulzar Ahmed and his wife struggled tirelessly to provide the best education and upbringing for their children.
All of ASI Gulzar Ahmed's children have been regularly provided scholarships through the Punjab Police Welfare Fund. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, ASI Gulzar Ahmed’s daughter Isha recently completed her MBBS from King Edward Medical University. His second daughter, Muneeba, is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the United States. His eldest daughter, Areeba, is employed as a technologist at Services Hospital. Another daughter, Laiba, is pursuing a BBA, while his son, Muhammad Awais, is studying FSc Pre-Engineering. Punjab Police spokesperson further shared that Gulzar Ahmed joined the police department in 1990 as a constable. He is currently serving as a wireless operator at CTO Lahore.
