Another successful Operation by Dera Ghazi Khan Police, CTD, and Rangers Teams at Punjab-KPK Border

Dera Ghazi Khan Police, CTD, and Rangers teams carried out a successful operation at the Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, resulting in an encounter with Khawarji terrorists in the Kotani Tal area of Police Station Vohwa. During the exchange, 2 terrorists were killed and several others injured..Sharing details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that patrolling teams comprising Police, Rangers, and CTD responded swiftly to intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists. As a result, the security teams engaged with the Khawarji terrorists in the Kotani Tal area.The Khawarji terrorists were heavily armed with rockets, hand grenades, and other heavy weapons. Police force, Rangers, and CTD fought valiantly, leading to the elimination of two terrorists, while several others sustained injuries. Due to the intense counteraction by security teams, the terrorists managed to escape by hiding behind bushes and sand mounds.
During the encounter, Elite Force official Adnan Habib and CTD official Ghazanfar sustained minor injuries. Punjab Police spokesperson further shared that the Punjab-KPK border was already on high alert due to intelligence regarding terrorist movement in the area. Upon receiving the alert, backup teams under the leadership of DPO Syed Ali promptly reached the scene. Search and sweep operations by Police, Rangers, and CTD teams are ongoing in the border areas.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar commended the DG Khan Police for successfully sending the terrorists to hell.
