On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, departmental process of promotions in Punjab Police is continuing at a fast pace. In the same continuation 14 Head Constables in the Motor Transport Wing have been promoted to the rank of ASI, and 15 Constables have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable. A rank-wearing ceremony was held for the officers and personnel promoted in the MT Wing Punjab. SSP MT Punjab, Dr. Anush Masood Chaudhry, pinned the new ranks on the promoted officers and personnel.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted officers and personnel and directed them to perform their duties with greater dedication. He emphasized that officers should keep their ACRs and service records up to date. He said that around 4,500 promotions will be given this year across various ranks. IG Punjab, while addressing the promoted officers and personnel, said that in return for promotions and welfare, selfless service to citizens and fearless protection of lives & properties should be ensured.
According to details, Muhammad Zafar, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Daood, Irshad Hussain, Maqbool Masih, Tariq Khan, Ghulam Yaseen, Muhammad Yousaf, Rab Nawaz, Shahid Mehmood, Zulfiqar Ali, Fazal Hussain, and Muhammad Ashiq have been awarded ASI rank. Similarly, Babar Shehzad, Nasrullah, Syed Zameer Hussain Shah, Shehbaz Ahmed, Nadeem Haider Khan, Muhammad Ishaq, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Kashif, Arshad Nawaz, Abdul Shakeel Khan, Muhammad Arif, Umar Hayat, Anjum Nisar, Muhammad Ajmal Khan, and Ehsan Ullah have been awarded with the ranks of Head Constable.
