Punjab Police Mianwali and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a successful operation against Kharwarji terrorists in Makarwal. Providing details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that more than 10 terrorists were sent to hell during the operation, and there are reports of more terrorists being injured. A local resident was wounded in the leg due to terrorist gunfire and was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. The operation against the Kharwarji terrorists is ongoing under the supervision of Regional Police Officer Sargodha Shahzad Asif Khan and DPO Mianwali Akhtar Farooq. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that DPO Mianwali Akhtar Farooq, along with all officers and personnel of the police and CTD, are completely safe. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated Mianwali Police on the remarkable success against the Kharwarji terrorists. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is on high alert and will crush the evil intentions of the terrorists into dust.
