Preparations for the 35th National Games Under the Auspices of Pakistan Olympic Association in Full Swing
Meeting of Coaches, Patrons, Managers, and Team Captains Held Under the Chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare and Finance Imran Arshad
A meeting regarding preparations for the 35th National Games, organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Olympic Association, was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Imran Arshad. The meeting was attended by Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan, Additional IG Training Tariq Rustam Chohan, Additional IG Humayun Bashir Tarar, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, and SSP Investigation Lahore Muhammad Naveed.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the meeting reviewed matters related to the security, accommodation, meals, and medical facilities for the police teams participating in the National Games. On this occasion, RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail Amjad informed that a contingent of 573 players from Punjab Police will participate in 32 different sports in the 35th National Games. He said that Punjab Police athletes are determined and will deliver a better performance compared to the previous year.
On the instructions of IG Punjab, all necessary resources are being provided to police athletes for the promotion of sports. Focal persons have been appointed to ensure effective coordination between patrons, managers, and coaches of all provincial teams during the National Games. DIG Karachi said that the Sindh government will provide full facilities and support to the police teams of all provinces, including Punjab. RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail, Additional IG Traffic, Commandant Chung Training College Mehboob Aslam Lillah, Deputy Director Balochistan Sports Police, Director Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, DIG Traffic Karachi, and Additional IG Jawad Dogar also participated in the meeting via video link.
