Punjab Police's campaign to evacuate illegally residing foreign nationals continues rapidly.

Punjab Police’s campaign to evacuate illegally residing foreign nationals is continuing swiftly, under which 10,711 illegal residents, including Afghans, have been deported from across the province, including Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that during the campaign, more than 11,250 illegal residents have been moved to holding centers, while 539 illegal residents are currently present at holding points. Punjab Police spokesperson shared that 5 holding centers have been established in Lahore and 46 across the province.

IG Punjab said that the evacuation policy for illegal residents is being implemented in accordance with international laws, and security is on high alert. The evacuation of all illegally residing individuals will be ensured, and the entire process is being carried out with full regard for human rights. Dr. Usman Anwar, while directing CCPO Lahore, RPOs, and DPOs, emphasized expediting the evacuation of illegal foreign migrants. He further added that the identification of illegally residing foreign nationals is being carried out through the Special Branch, CTD, security agencies, and intelligence-based information. IG Punjab reiterated that the identification of illegal foreign residents is being conducted using intelligence-based methods through the Special Branch, CTD, and security institutions.
