The campaign for the evacuation of illegally residing foreign nationals continues, 

The number of illegally residing foreign nationals deported from across the province including Lahore has reached 10,379, Punjab Police Spokesperson

The campaign by Punjab Police for the evacuation of illegally residing foreign nationals is ongoing, during which the number of such individuals deported from across the province including Lahore has reached 10,379. During the campaign, more than 11,000 illegally residing individuals have been moved to holding centers, while 656 illegally residing persons are currently present at holding points. Punjab Police spokesperson said that 05 holding centers have been established in Lahore and 46 across the province. Inspector General of Punjab Police said that, like other countries, the deportation policy is being implemented in accordance with international laws. The evacuation of all illegally residing foreign nationals is being ensured, and security is on high alert. Human rights are being fully considered during the evacuation process. Dr. Usman Anwar, while directing the CCPO Lahore, RPOs, and DPOs, said that the process of evacuating illegally residing foreign immigrants should be expedited. IG Punjab further instructed that the identification of illegally residing foreign nationals is being carried out through the Special Branch, CTD, security agencies, and intelligence-based information.
