Traffic Management and Command Course for Traffic Officers (TOs) continues at the Central Police Office
On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Traffic Management and Command Course for Traffic Officers (TOs) is ongoing at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab specially attended the second day of the course and delivered a lecture. Additional IG Mirza Farhan Baig, CTO Dr. Athar Waheed, DIG Capt. (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, and SSP Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah delivered special lectures on command and grooming. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the Traffic Management Course is to improve the grooming and supervisory role of Traffic Officers (TOs), making it more effective and exemplary. For excellent leadership and command, your relationships with the force, the public, and other institutions should remain well-established. District Traffic Officers demonstrating negligence, carelessness, or unsatisfactory performance will not be allowed to remain in their districts.
Additional IG Mirza Farhan Baig said that full benefit should be taken from innovations such as the Digital Warden App and DLIMS. By modernizing licensing centers and driving schools, public convenience should be enhanced. CTO Lahore Dr. Athar Waheed emphasized that it is your responsibility to ensure law enforcement without any bias. Ensure the presence of traffic staff on roads for uninterrupted traffic flow.
DIG Establishment-II Capt. (R) Liaqat Ali Malik said that for strong command & management, supervisory officers must have complete control over all matters. A good commander works side by side with their team to solve public issues. SSP Headquarters Traffic Punjab Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah said that Traffic Officers (TOs) should use their position and authority to serve the public. Along with law enforcement, your greatest success lies in raising traffic awareness among the people.
