9th Martyrdom Anniversary of brave Police Officers who embraced martyrdom during Rajanpur Kacha Operation
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Paid glowing Tribute to Police Martyrs
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, paid rich tribute to the police martyrs who laid down their lives during the Rajanpur Kacha Operation, on the occasion of their ninth martyrdom anniversary. He said that the brave sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, deserve our highest respect and salute. Punjab Police also salute the families of these brave police officers and officials.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, on this very day in 2016, six officers and personnel of the Punjab Police embraced martyrdom during a confrontation with the notorious Chhotu Gang in the Kacha area of Rajanpur as part of an ongoing operation. The martyrs included a Sub-Inspector, a Head Constable, and four Constables. Sub-Inspector Hanif Ghouri, Head Constable Muhammad Ajmal, and Constables Ubaid Ullah Faheem, Muhammad Tariq, Aman Ullah, and Muhammad Shakeel all laid down their lives while bravely performing their duties during the operation.
