Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with Officers serving in Various Districts

Various district officers met with Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar. The officers included Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, Senior Traffic Wardens, and Traffic Wardens. The officers briefed IG Punjab about the issues they were facing regarding promotions. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar assured the officers that their legitimate concerns regarding promotions would be addressed on a priority basis. IG Punjab directed DIG Establishment-I, to promptly resolve the obstacles in the promotion process of officers, IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is strictly following the “No Man Left Behind” policy regarding the promotion of its employees. He further mentioned that officers and staff members who meet the criteria of seniority, merit, and regulations are being promoted without delay. To promote paperless working, the ACRs are being completed in a timely manner under the Human Resource Management System, and the process of issuing promotion notifications is ongoing on the digital e-FOAS system. The use of digital technology is being ensured to maintain transparency in recruitments, promotions, and postings. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the force's service and promotion structure based on transparency, Human Resource Management, and the e-FOAS system has significantly increased trust.
