Government’s Ongoing Campaign to evacuate Illegal Immigrants Continues Uninterrupted

A total of 4,111 individuals have been deported from the province, including Lahore, with the assistance of relevant authorities, Punjab Police spokesperson.

The government’s campaign to evacuate illegal immigrants continues without interruption. In this ongoing effort, 4,111 individuals have been deported from the province, including Lahore, with the help of relevant authorities. Punjab Police spokesperson shared these details, stating that over 5,950 illegal immigrants have been transferred to holding centers, while 1,839 illegal immigrants are currently at holding points. A total of 46 holding centers have been set up across the province, including five in Lahore.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that all illegal immigrants will be sent back without exception. He further said that security remains on high alert during the evacuation process and that human rights are being strictly upheld throughout the operation. Dr. Usman Anwar has instructed the CCPO Lahore, RPOs, and DPOs to expedite the evacuation process for illegal immigrants. He also stressed the importance of mapping, scanning, and screening illegal immigrants according to the proper procedures.
