On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police's crackdown against drug dealers continues. As part of this operation, 229 raids were conducted on drug dealers’ hideouts across the province, including Lahore, within the last 24 hours. A total of 118 drug dealers were arrested, and cases were registered against them. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, that 28 kilograms of ice (crystal meth) and 12 kilograms of heroin were recovered from the possession of the drug dealers, along with 49 kilograms of charas and 3,372 liters of liquor.IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has ordered the continuation of special operations against drug dealers and smugglers. He directed the officers to ensure the complete dismantling of the drug supply chain and the arrest of individuals involved in online drug trade. He further instructed that intelligence-based operations around educational institutions and hostels should be intensified.
